Pioneer and Heritage Festival – Vendor Form

Greetings from the Merryville Historical Society & Museum!

We would like to invite you to participate as a vendor for our 2024 Pioneer Heritage Festival on March 30! This event will take place in front of our museum and runs from 9 A.M.. until 8 P.M. It is designed to entertain visitors and educate about the rich heritage of not only Merryville but also Beauregard Parish, No Man’s Land, Sabine River, SW Louisiana and SE Texas. The  festivities will include live entertainment, live Pioneer demonstrations, silent and live auctions, and a wide variety of food and craft vendors.

Below is a hefty but thorough list of vendor information.

 

    1. Application and full payment are due by March 18th. Applications are on a first come first served basis. Application is not fully submitted without full payment.

    1. We encourage you to bring a wide variety of Louisiana famous festival foods. 

    1. Appearance and ambiance of your booth is CRITICAL to the overall atmosphere of the festival and the audience’s perception of the event as a whole. We highly encourage imaginative booth designs, flags, banners, etc. 

    1. All spaces must maintain cleanliness and provide a safe environment based on local safety guidelines.

    1. Spaces are reserved on the day and time payment is received. No space will be reserved without full payment. You will be allowed to occupy only your assigned space.

    1. All spaces are outdoors. Vendors are responsible for their own tents, displays, tables, chairs, etc.

    1. When measuring your trailer, be sure to include the tongue in the total length. We can no longer accommodate trailers requiring drain connections.

    1. Vendors who are distributors for franchised companies (ie: Lularoe, Scentsy, Tupperware, etc.) will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

    1. Set up for food truck vendors will be Friday, March 29. Vendors with tents may set up on Saturday, March 30 before 9AM.

    1. Each booth will be supplied with a tax packet. You are responsible for filing the necessary forms with the LA Department of Revenue and the Beauregard Parish Police Jury. Under state and parish laws, we are required to furnish a list of all vendors attending the festival.

    1. Absolutely NO pets allowed anywhere on festival grounds.

    1. Local law enforcement will provide limited security. Neither they nor the Merryville Historical Society assume any liability for injury, damage, loss, or theft of an individual’s property.

Please find the vendor application enclosed. Forms are to be mailed to the museum address, listed above. To confirm your willingness to participate in the 2024 Pioneer Heritage Festival, we ask you to complete the enclosed form and return it along with your payment to the Merryville Historical Society & Museum by March 18th.
